Beauty was suggested to me by my children lit teacher in college. During that time I didn’t get to read a lot for enjoyment. When I found a book that I did like and I had the time to read it, I held on! I bought this book and read it every 3 day weekend that I had.

Beauty and the Beast was always one of my favorite Disney movies I loved how independent Beauty was, how she was happy with just her books. I also enjoyed dancing cutlery. I remember this movie being one of my first on the big screen.

In this story Beauty is anything but her namesake. She is intellectual and loves solitude. She would much rather stay in her room and study Ulysses then attend any social gathering. The only thing she loved outside her family and books was her horse.
