We hate reviews that just summarize the book. I don’t need a synopsis of the book, and neither do you. You need to know if you want to read it, because sometimes, no matter how the summary goes… let’s face it, it’s still a crappy book! right? Sometimes. Or it can end up being one of your all-time favorites! My point is, you don’t really have a good gauge of the “like” factor of a book by just reading the summary. The summary on the cover of the book is enough for me.

What you and I both want, is a review. Someone telling me how they felt about the book, and why they think it’s a good read, a bad read, an inappropriate book, poorly written, written for young girls, old men, or what have you. Now I know you’re on the same page as me.

We’ve also gone one step further. We rank the books we read so that you know what the content of the book is and can decide if its appropriate for you, your child, or your students.
